dave its 1400cc or under, road class (basically all the interior still intact, MOT and Tax required with road legal tyres.
and the same for 1400cc > 1800cc
but id probably be removing everything that not needed, wireing, sound deadening the lot then just put carpets and seats back in.
Im not sure if you need the rear seats or not yet, all it keeps saying is 2 front seats, its something i need to check on.

I'd shy away from cars with engine conversion with an engine that wasn't available in that range, (ax with 16v lump)
Guy at work ran a fiesta with a zetec lump on carbs, was stuck in the sports libre class, and too compete he said it'd have cost him 15-20grand to even get near the pace of a lot of the cars.

just been on the phone with a mate who has one and was going on about the rear axle bearings wearing is the most important thing to look out for.. other than that just the usual like whats in the thread.

one thing which i think we will do if i get a s1 rallye is get some bike carbs on it for a bit more power.
