They interviewed one of his sons a few weeks back and many soldiers claimed it was the sons that ordered the army to use anti aircraft cannons on civilians, he spent most of the time laughing about it, nice people !
I guess in some way it stops there being further problems with heirs of Gaddafi taking control in the future. How many sons does he have anyway ?
