I currently have a standard Astra VXR in Black.

I want to:

Color the rear boot strip black,remove the vauxhall logo badge and the astra badge but leave VXR, Lower it a little bit. As for wheels i want something 18 inch either matt black or gloss black with red rims. Nothing from halfords either. Perhaps some Comps or Pro race 1.2's. I'll colour the calipers red for now untill the disks need changing then get some better brakes which will also be red.

Then on with the engine......

I'm mainly looking for opinions on the above and help finding some wheels.

Pro Race 1.2s look really good on these lowered on DAP springs, but it's as common as speedlines and a GSi kit on a corsa (which isn't a bad thing)

i would recomend DAP-R springs. my mate has got them on his vxr with a whiteline arb and it handles great

Coloured rims of wheels in any colour on any car look gay imo. On a fairly new car especially a vxr would make it look chavy. Keep them the one colour i say.

What you described is my car minus the red rim, eBay seem to be cheapish for new pro race 1.2's. They come up for sale every now and then on vxr online too.
