My brother had one and i had acouple of shots of it, i thought it was very nice, comfy and huge grin factor overtaking things. Never had a chance to go round bends in it though. You can get a spec'd up one for silly money these days. My brothers had afl, sensors, nav, full leather and was 20kish on an 57.

I nearly got a veccy VXR, test drove one and loved it.. seems to be a great car. Plus get the 280bhp one, remap it and you get silly torque figures. Think it goes to around 440 torque lol

Whitter BMW was getting on, cost £800 a year on tyres and £900 to service.
Just want a relatively new car that's big. It's not hugely exciting but it's Practical

yes chap, they certainly are, the estate's are like a tardis when you fold the seats
im 6 foot 4 and i shit you not, i can lay out in the back of them with the bootlid closed!
for the money they are up at i cant think of anything else on the market that gives you the same package.
just have a look over on VVOC a few of the lads on there have them, one guy was plagued with issues and it spent more time at the dealers than at his house, but he got it sorted in the end.

but surely it would use the same on tyres etc
I agree servicing maybe cheaper but you will lose so much more in depreciation especially in the current climate of running costs
People will pay for an M3 and have running costs but they wouldnt pay similar for a Vectra VXR with similar running costs
You would be dead in the water trying to shift it
