Whats the widest tyre i could fit on a Mk4 Astra??

Been offered a set of Team Dynamics Pro-Race 1.2 18s with 225 40 18 tyres.

The car is lowered 60mm front and about 40mm rear.

Will they rub??

Just waiting on the guy getting back to me with the offset which too will help.

Shouldn't rub normally, but depending on the offset you might find the back will rub if you've got a full car

Anything over 215 usually means the arches need messed with

Right i need to find out the offset of the wheels 1st.

Apparently 225 will fit depending on the offset.

Aye think im just gonna keep the 1s i have.Too much hassle with 18s.

Was needing a tyre so thought fuk it i'll just buy new wheels.Al just get a tyre instead.
