Lol fuck me just got back from one of the worst journeys ever, but still pretty funny

Took bumblebee off to Jamsport for some new tappets, MOT and general tidy up before PVS, what a mare getting there

journey brackley to northampton 25-30min tops

Started up fine, checked all levels no issues, just needed some fuel

got to the petrol station and conked out as i got to the pumps, no biggie, had the battery jump pack in dads car who was bringing me back and jumped it and set off, 10mins down the A43 lost power and car died on my pulled onto a slip road, figured the battery was on its way out so hooked up the jump pack and kept it connected to the battery in the boot

started it again then set off, got 5mins away from jampsport, same again spluttered and dies at the lights, realised the jump pack was powering the car as i think the alternator is shagged for being sat for so long, so had to be towed the last 5mins by dad in the vectra ...... bugger

2nd to last roundabout tow rope snaps had to knot it back to gether for the last few yards and finally made it, lol 4 breakdowns/stoppages in the space of half an hour what a mare

....still got to laugh havent you, hopefully bumblebee will be sorted for PVS in time, picking it back up in 3 weeks after broster sorts it and gets it through an MOT for me

ho-hum another day in the life of a corsa owner, the joys lol

That's nothing mate, the same thing happened to me when I went to pick the Corsa up - from Staffordshire. All I had was a set of jump leads and a mate's motor, cue us stopping every half an hour to fill the battery up meaning that a 4.5hr journey took 9 hrs. Didn't help that it was the worst rain I've ever driven in and the fact that the stupid M6 has no lighting on it.

Count yourself lucky
