Stripping the rear of my corsa corsa, how do you guys go about taking the seat brackets off? I hammerd/chizeled one and kinda made a mess, any help thanks

there should be torques peice bolts to take them out?

notorious torx bolts i think you mean, about the size of a 2p?

yes, my ones in the puma were tx55 iirc.

left holes in the floor though which isn't ideal.

Nope i have seats out its the welded ones i am on about, i grinded one off it was alot tidier then the chizeled one but took quite a while, i even tried drilling the spot welds out but its leaving a hole ( think its spot welded each side not sure )

Ah the spot welded ones, yeah they're a pain, I have many holes in my rear arches to prove it

I'd guess for the best finish you'd just have to grind them down till it's flush.

I have stripped two of my corsa rear and never came across any welded in bolts?? Ever??

to take spot welds out get a drill a and spot weld drill bit machine mart or any body repaire store should sell them after that grind the exces bit then primer n pait it so it looks good and protect it against rust
