Recently bought a corsa c20xe, cheap. suspected headgasket failure.
Upon inspection it isnt the headgasket ( i dont think )

I have full compression on all cylinders, doesnt overheat just sometimes doesnt start.
I went to it this morning and it fired up then cut out ofter 3 minutes of idling and hasnt started since.

I flashed the codes and got

31 - Crank sensor
66 - Carbon monoxide potentiometer high voltage
73 - airflow sensor voltage low - i unplugged this to see if it was working

Any ideas, maybe just try a crank sensor and see what happens ?

Also the engine is the early type

you will always get 31 if you test while the engine is not running.
