Hey Guys,

Hope everyone is cool

K got an annoying problem with a mate of mine who is having some real bad luck

He had a few hundread quid and got a deal for some Wolfrace Octanes 15" so he took it.

Well anyways, Halfords said cos he bought them they would sort it all out, fit them and he would be away and loving it.

K, the problem is ( i know nothing bout corsa b's) they have put spacers on the rear, is this really needed? cos not when he has a few in the car, its actually scrubbing on the arch. The car hasnt been lowered and it is the standard 1.2 8v.

Also what offset do the wheels run on cos basically halfords are being total twats and denying everything and saying that it is his problem and well now he doesnt know wat to do.

little bit of advice and some facts would help me guys cos i dont wanna see him get stuffed.

So yeh hope you lot can help

cheers

All depends on the offset (et) of the wheels. With 15" u could get away with et40, but obvioulsy the closer to the Vauxhall et49 the better.

Sounds like to me Halfrods are just trying to Ripp him off. I'd contact the Halfords head office and take it up with them if the store is not prepared to do anything about it.

cheers guys, but lets just say the offset is pretty close, so within the et40 to 49 you wouldnt expect this trouble would you??

cheers

Sounds like those Halfrod guys are twats.Spacers? Why?Tell your friend to remove them,it should cure the rubbing. But if they are between et35-40 there still shuld be rubbing.

well i have 15x7 inch alloys et38 with 195/50 tyre and there's alot of rubbing at back. It's being sorted thow.So maybe with et40 and 195/45 you could get away with it.

You can get away with et 35.. lowered 60 mm

So long as you've debolted the arches and filed them back a bit

what i load of shizen!Halfords are a rip off and have not got a clue about modding they just want lots of£££££££££££££££££££££££

Take ther spacers off straight away.

If i anm right in thinking the reason ya would want spacers is if the wheels had an offset of 60????so sum ting mad like that??

hope it helps
