Had a eurotunnel crossing booked for June as we were supposed to be driving to S.France with the inlaws, they split up so it all went tits up.

Going somewhere else in June now but was thinking of using the crossing in September as i can transfer it for free and seems a waste of £71 just to not use it, want to go somewhere cheap as chips for a few nights. Haven't a clue where to go, don't want to travel too far or spend a lot, been looking on eurocamp etc but seems dear for what you get, two nights in a tent for like £120.

Also what is the best ferry crossing to come back on

Any ideas?

Le Touquet is nice and not very far from the main ports. Last time I went over on the ferry we used DFDS which was nice and cheap - you'd sail home from Dunkerque.
