Basically its hard to change gear and grinds really bad when i go into reverse. My clutch pedal is lower than my brake pedal, is this normal?

Is there anything i can do to determine whether its the clutch or just the cable that needs adjusting or is it a case of just tightening the cable and go from there.

Hoping its not the clutch as its just something else to pay for.

Try adjusting the cable so that your clutch is even with the brake pedal and go from there.
