Just wondering will my car fail MOT if i put my 4.2.1 manifold on sum one at work was telling me it will

it will if the cat is in the standard manifold, yours isnt, you will be fine

It won't fail an MOT for having a different manifold. As Matt said, if you had a cat in the manifold and it removed it, then aye... But yours won't.

even if you put a de-cat in some friendly places will turn a blind eye to an emissions test for extra £20 or so

mine turned a blind eye to my decat and bald tyre with a nail in for free lol, i didnt want to get a new tyre as i was spraying another set of wheels that were being put on the car the week after

its like the time i had bady tinted rear lights on my old b, he said if you get pulled for them, you fitted them after rite!? lol
