Autotrader is a joke these days! It costs just as much to list on Autotraders website for two weeks as it does to list on eBay AND Pistonheads for a month.

Not sure how much I want. It's just had a full service, MOT, Tax and a new turbo fitted at a cost of almost £1500. I've seen similar on AT for £4k but I'm not sure what's realistic.

Little tip.. dont mention any recent work that has been done when you sell a car, just show the service history.. Talking about new parts/ancilaries just puts people off.

Even when it cost me £1k and it's a common replacement item?

I've not actually had the turbo done yet but I will get it done before I sell it because it's knackered.

Had my interest throught pistonheads/ebay autotrader was expensive and got nothing so haven't bothered renewing it.

Had a few scammer ones from PH though, but they're obvious when they come through.

The car market is too shite nowadays to be selling it on autotrader imo, unless you stick it on for wayyy less than the going rate you prob wont get much interest.

eBay Classified ad so you don't get stung for final value fees etc. That's how I sold my Punto. Got nothing through AutoTrader, PistonHeads or GumTree.

Hit and miss, I've sold through them all with different cars at different times.
