It's a Samsung Digimax S730.

TBH I haven't used it that much as we tend to take Laura's out with us. It would need a memory card but the only issue I've ever had with it is it needs good batteries

Panasonic Lumix. Might be able to get one of the TZ8's for around £100 from ebay. Dont think you'll get one by tomorrow though unless its local and ending soon.

P.S. Last week i picked up a US TZ10 from ebay for £140.

The touchscreen is a pain in the arse, bought the PL150 for the misses and it's a bit pants really. Ok as a basic camera with decent res, but if you need the zoom or any features fairly quickly this isn't for you!

Never been a fan of Samsung cameras.

Look for a Panasonic or Canon for ease of use.
Look for a Sony for cool features like panorama swipe.

The Panasonic Lumix TZ's are great travel cameras. Fantastic optics and their iAuto function is superb if you don't give a fuck about photography and want your camera to make all the settings itself.

Make sure you get one with a rechargeable battery though. Sticking AA's in a camera should be a death sin.

Can recommend the Panasonics, use one everyday for work. Try to get one with a 25mm lens if possible for some wider shots. They're well built, easy to use and the software's good too.
