Really confused with this, and cant work out wtf is wrong with it.
Corsa 1.2 8v bought for £100 for my gf's brother to learn in.
The brake pedal bottoms out which then stops the car but the pedal goes all the way to the bottom
Things so far changed
Calipers changed with my old sport ones (known working condition)
Master cylinder and servo which is off my sport (known working condition)
New rear shoes
New rear cylinders
New disks
New pads
New front hoses
Bled around 10 times since fitting the above at different stages, which a proper bleeding kit aswel, so very certain there is no air within the system.
Clamping off the front hoses (before they were replaced) seemed to give a good pedal, hence replacing them but with the new ones fitted it was back to normal again, which makes me think the rears are most likely ok?

You done any hard braking? The slower/ more gentle you brake the more travel you get. It happens with my corsa. I presume as his learning this would be the case.

No, we havnt clamped the rears off, but one the fronts were clamped the pedal seemed ok, so they were replaced.
So I assume the rears are ok.
May aswel change them though so I can rule that out!

Cant be, have bled the fuck out of it!
When the system is under pressure with the bleet kit, I get a nice flow of brake fluid with no bubles. So I highly doubt it.

Searched all the brake pipes for leaks?

Leave it overnight with the pedal pushed right down, and bleed it the old fashion way.

Brake pipes are deffo not leaking.
Surely the brakes are bled though, have done various othe Corsa's, Astra, Land Rovers with my gunsons bleed kit and never had a problem, have even tried bleeding it 'the old fashioned way' apart from leaving the pedal down over night?!?

When you've exhausted all the sensible options start looking at the unlikely stuff. Only reason I said air in system is because I had the exact same sort of problems that you're describing and was getting a nice flow of fluid bleeding it, ended up that just constantly bleeding the back brakes for a good while sorted it

your problem might be the rear shoes adjuster .

Have the shoes been adjusted up properly? I had this with mine, thought it needed bleeding, tried it and it was still the same, adjusted the back brakes up and I now have about 3 clicks on the handbrake and a much better pedal. I had to adjust them up loads though and had to file down the lip on the drums to get them back over the shoes, they need to be really cosy.
