Right following on from my other post(my c20xe bogs down under load), I have today removed loads of hoses etc and checked them all for leaks/splits etc.
I found that the hose going from the air filter to the AFM has a 2inch long split in it and its a good 2mm open. Would that cause the car to bog down in lower revs under load???
If not then will need to look at other things aswell as sorting this

im not 100% sure it will make a difference or not with the hole there. ive just used some silicon sealant on it, waiting for that to dry before testing it

if the split is between air filter and AFM then that will not cause a problem.
What do you mean by bogging?
To much fuel or air OR TPS problem?
What do your plugs look like?
Any fault code?

throttle position sensor (TPS)
try unplugging AFM an see how it is.
try unplugging TPS an go again.
Clean plugs up go for a run and see what they are like, as that will tell you know the burn is.

yes mate.
Get some carb cleaner when the engines running spray around your intake system (not the air filter) see weather the engine changes note ie running on the carb cleaner this will help you see for air leaks.
Try unplugging AFM TPS and see if it helps.

Fitted new iridium plugs since posting this and have took the car for a drive. It seems spot on and seems to pull a fuck load more than it ever did.
Didnt have any issues at all so hopefully might have sorted it
