im looking a cheapo cars now insurance is getting better, playing with quotes may next year i can insure a 1.9 one cheaper the 1.2 corsa was this year,
they look good fun and pre 91 means decat legaly

From what I've heard, you want the 1.9 with the 1.6 box. Or just an MI16 engine.

Ive also always liked them, although there seems to be a few dogs about.
There seems to be a few turbo ones floating about. Seems to be quite a common conversion and looks like good fun.

Best car I ever had.
Handled like shit to a blanket, and never had any bother with it.
Mine was mildly tuned, it had a stage 3 head, twin 40's and a few other parts.
photo's are when I bought it, with the 1/2 leather etc
I removed the seats and fitted 2 bucket seats, harnesses and half cage.
Left the red carpet though because it looked

Me and the old man have had 1 for about 5 years now. Real minter used to do road rallys etc with motor clubs. My dad bought a lotus elise so had to sell the 205 to me  been sat in the garge a while now though!
Great fun driving them, can really throw the around. Just make sure the rear beam isn't seezed on any you look at because there costly to replace as i'm finding out!

Thinking about it, I have a mate who has not long bought one to tinker with, absolutely standard and just needs a bit of tlc I think.
