The best bet is to ring up and book each couple separately. We've done group camping at brathwaite before but that was a few years ago

Where abouts in Lakes?!

Try Scarness? Right on the lake, out the way of homes but close enough to places to still do stuff!

got sorted there now , we rang a couple places first thing yesterday, some said they were full up, some said they dont accept groups and a one asked for £20 a head in a deposit incase we made a noise that we would loose if any body complained ect.
its a joke really, the place that booked us in in the end werent arsed , there just asked how old we were and werent arsed at all .
MY brother and his mates have the same trouble , they are keen climbers and other outdoor activity people, and there 27-30 years old and still have trouble getting booked in places.

12 of us had this problem last year with campsites, so we fucked off into the middle of nowhere and had a mini rave better than any campsite.
