I think people are forgetting that I have 3 kids to look after and all they want to do all day is spend tome in the pool so there isn't much else for me to do, but it's as much there holiday as it is mine

in sharm el sheik? it as that temp in luxor and cairo which is why we didn't do any excursions there. 45 day, 35 night is far too hot as it is, even the locals were sweating like mad and had to drink water even though it's ramadan.

That was in cairo. Went luxor last year as well, it was about 40 at night. Even hotter if you go to the valley of the kings and in the tombs, can hardly breath down in them.

It can get too hot, especially if your not use to it. Ive been like 3-4 times now, so im fairly use to it. I still find it hot to do anything from about 12-2/3 oclock though, even just being outside can get to you.

if you're like me then you won't enjoy walking around out there.

after 10 minutes in the sun it literally looked s if someone had poured a bottle of water over me, i was soaked with sweat.

fine in the water though.

was going back to our room at 9pm though because it was just too hot to sit outside at night.

we are going back at xmas one year to do the excursions as it will be hot but not as bad as summer.

+1 - there had been a distinct lack of driving based rants in PL of late

thanks for your concern.

i can concur that i never want to be a driver of a vehicle in egypt ever. nothing on the roads over here will never compare to the carnage of driving over there

3 taxi's side by side on a 2 lane road, we were in the one in the middle.
taxi reversing down a one way street with lorries driving past beeping and going mad.
