If you saw a car for a bargain price, and wanted to buy it and sell it on, would you have to fill out the v5 as the new owner, wouldnt want to add another owner onto it if its not needed? Thanks

Depends how arsey the seller was tbh.

Its also the sellers responsibilty to send it off with the new keepers details, so most will want to do this. Also saves any come back while its still in there name.

Tbh if its a bargain price, another owner on the books wont make much of a difference.

Just fill in the trade section and keep the book.
