to relocate the oil sender, needs to ne 1/4 npt male at one end and 1/4 npt female at the other.

any ideas where to get? seems hard to get hold of

Cant find any. But you can get some pipe, two push on male adaptors and a female coupler.

Put the male adaptors on each end of the pipe, then attach the coupler to one of the male threads. You will then have a male thread at one end and a female thread at the other.

Pirtek or any similar hose/pipe people.

Can make you a decent flexible to your requirements easily enough.

Sandwich plate looks good problem is my sender is m10 not 1/8 should have a pipe sorted now though

hydraulic threads are very rarely metric and will no doubt be taperd

Thinking about it a piece of normal brake flexihose would work, that's m10 would that type of hose be suitable ?
