Morning all, I'm hopefully swoping engines this weekend as mine is on it's last legs. Im fitting a powerbox inlet, 4-2-1 exhaust manifold a De-cat and a full s/s exhaust to the new x16xe .
Just wondering if anybody was running the same setup and could give a rough idea of power gains,

im not 100% sure but i think brosters?, was 190/200 bhp?

I ran 124bhp and 118ft/lb with the above with a proper Mantzel.

I've had 118bhp out of my c16xe with a powerbox and a standard exhaust manifold with a decat!

iv never had mine on rollers yet and its probs not really big bhp for what it is but i reset the ecu the other day and it feels alot faster and smoother.
running 4.1 mani, decat, de-restricted air box, and well serviced. getting a inlet box soon
mines the x16xel with the x16xe inlet atm

Brosters was running with 190bhp...
Mine had 130bhp with bolt on mods, ported head gives 140 with the same

its been said that the head out of an astra the x16xel one is better for running TB's

210bhp is about highest wet sump. Too many companies claim 'big power' bt its easy enuf to adjust a few figures to apear ur getn mre bhp.
Broster had 188 with pocketd stock pistons, tbs, 288newmans + sbd ex mani iirc. Iv got his ex mani on my 16xe, but not on rollers til 20th, but hoping see close to 200bhp
