Been trying to help the ex mrs sell her C for a month or so now.
It's a 54 plate, 60k on it, plenty T&T.
Lowered, Candy Purple Speedlines, Tinted Windows, Exhaust, Irmy Grille.
All in a nice little car, and the more desired 1.8 model.
Had it up at £3600 and had zero response, probably going to put it on ebay.
Does it seem overpriced ??

Yes, I'm looking at C SRi's at the moment and there are plenty between £2.5k and £3k with low mileage and around the 2005 year

Car market is really bad at the moment. Was offered less than that last weekend trade in for a 58 plate VTS on 70k. Admittedly should get more private, but it shows used car market is fucked tbh.

i bet if it was 1.2 or 1.4 it would have shifted.
1.8 = higher ins, tax, fuel, thats why people are shyaing away from it.
so "more desired 1.8"... i wouldnt think so to be honest.

Here's an example http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201135412294152/sort/priceasc/usedcars/maximum-age/up_to_7_years_old/model/corsa/make/vauxhall/radius/60/page/1/keywords/sri/postcode/s352qp?logcode=p
The mileage is relatively high for the age but it's still cheap regardless

Ive been looking for a corsa C for a bit now, Cdti but in that time I have looked at all the models and they are super cheap.
I would sadly expect your girlfriends car in the current market to be closer to the £2800-3k mark Just my own view from what I have seen from many adverts.
As said a lot of people with the costs of tax, mainly insurance and fuel will be looking at more economical models.
I'm sure most people would rather the 1.8 sri over a little sxi 1.2 but just can't afford or can't bring them selfs to pay so much for fuel and insurance.
Is nice car, love the wheel colour

That shows that a 70k 58 plate is completely useless to a dealer so they are offering what they'll get at market.
