Fair enough if that's your opinion cavey but I see it differently. If you go on facebook oblivious to this having been going on the fact is that you might just stumble across it by accident - at that point it doesn't matter how many times you turn the PC off though, the offence has been caused.

That statement always annoys me. You don't have to read it, no you're right but if you setup a Facebook page in memory of your child who has recently died, you're going to read people's posts on there and if there are any troll posts, you're going to read them before you realise they're troll posts so infact, you do have to read them or you choose not to read any posts just in case some sicko finds it funny talking shite about the massive part of your life that you've just lost but you miss out on all the messages of support that genuine people are offering, which is pretty much the whole point of making the page.

In this scenario we're not talking about posting a Jade Goody joke on a Corsa forum where it isn't directly linked to anyone involved, this is as good as posting a card through the bereaved's letterbox.

My opinion is there is too much real life shit brought to the internet these days, I personally don't think Facebook memorial pages and such are appropriate in the first place, but that's just my opinion. Like these stupid 'cruises' that get advertised on these sites to honour peoples death. I think the internet is not the place to honour peoples losses.
