Offt nothing like servicing the KA or the Mazda or even the Ibiza when I had it.
Took 5.5 litres of oil, Halfords sold me the wrong filter, it only has a jacking point and nowhere to put and axle stand and you have to have a slimline spanner to get the sump plug off. Why aren't things simple?

They make things harder so your average person can't service it themselves.
Even my Clio 182 took 5.1 litres of oil.

Everything completely covered by plastic covers, the whole underside is covered. I jacked it up on the rubbered jacking point then shoved a wheel under the (plastic covered) sill and a stand under the lower arm bolting point.
It's all done now though, it's quite a laugh to drive in weather like this, lock the auto 'box in 3rd and listen to the 'charger whine

Grandads AMG is covered in plastic underneath.
It goes to Mercedes for its serivces, although the last one cost him £2k
I was going to do it the other day but noticed it takes 16 spark plugs!

Only the expensive oils, valvoline, castrol etc are 4 litres, and normally the fully synthetic ones, not the semis.
Pow, think yourself lucky it's not an SLK320. 12 spark plugs!

Offt, TBH I'd love a shot in one, Mum's car is lovely to drive, smooth, roof down is nice, everything feels solid as fuck but it's slow.
2.0, 163bhp mated to an old school 5 speed autobox that takes 3 years to make a gear change decision. Meh.

Pow, the staff in Halfords are about 12. Do not listen to a word they say, ever!
