hey guys, currently only have 3 gears, 1st, 2nd and 5th! i did have it redone a couple of years back, but it cost me loads and they obviously didnt do a good job. so i think ill be getting a second hand one?
my cars a 1.4 8v spi, what are these gear boxes known as?
and also can i use a gear box out any other engine models?

no, i took it my friends garage to see if it was still under warranty, its not, so he said, best best it to get a second hand gear box!
whats a f28 out of?

F28 won't fit. It's from a Cavi, Cali or similar and fits big block engines.
Unsure what gearbox you need. Think sports use an F13 or F15 box?
Either of those i think would be what your looking for.
Probably only set you back about £50.

mine isnt a sport though? but would they fit?
£50 would be fine, its cost me nearly £200 for the full refurb in the past! what makes you think that chris?
