Need some opinions/common problems etc on 1.3cdti corsa c's, facelift models.
I know they are dog slow not really interested in speed etc, just what to watch out for.
I believe they have a fiat engine is that right?
Any help will be great cheers

It is a fiat engine yes, turbo spools up quite low in the rev range if I recall correctly, make sure to get a later one for £35 tax, usual corsa c problems ie gear linkage.

Aren't the fuel pumps an issue on these?

I did hear something about fuel pumps. Would people buy one? Recommend altenatives for a similar price/running cost etc if possible

I'd buy one but I don't want another corsa I think the only thing really in the same budget and running costs league would be a Clio 1.5dci?

If you get the Dci 80 extreme 2 it's cheaper to tax and does more mpg then the 1.3 cdti

Mate has one mapped. Ran 100bhp and 180lb torque which is too bad for what it is.

All I hear about the 1.3 CDTi corsa C's is the engines aren't great and the Isuzu engines in the 1.7's are far far better.
