Need some winter tyres for my winter horse. Its a AWD Subaru Justy, tyre size 165/70 R13. Anyone got any recommendations? I live in a hilly area in Wales so need something which will be decent in cold conditions, ice and some snow.

seems to be more to it than just choosing a brand. studded, some that can be studded, cold weather tyres. was looking for recommendations really

Iv just bought some cooper tyres for my 18" pentas on the Astra but iv not had them fitted yet as we have no snow forcast yet so can't really say what there like yet.

i wouldnt go as far as studed tyres for our country. nobbled ones should be plenty

Cant use studded ones on the road in the UK
Get gislaved frost they're the best you'll get
