Can't really do anything. I watched a program on gun dogs that where scared of the sound of the gun. Basically leave them and don't pamper to them crying because this encourages them even more and they will get worse. They realise that if they shake and cry they will get attention, so they get worse. Leave them and it will pass.

Mine is only 10 months old so not seen how he reacts to them but I'd imagine he'd either try and play with them or shag them, the same as he does with everything else.

You should all get proper dogs and not faggy ones!
In all seriousness, you can train any dog like you would a gun dog not to be afraid. My labradors would stand next to a shotgun when it was being fired and be actually enjoying it.
It's not a gundog's instinct, it's training.
When she was a pup, i took her into a field and from really far away i had a mate set of a little banger so all we heard was a small pop. Important thing is not to make a fuss over it. just keep playing with the pup like nothing happened. Then very slowly start walking toward each other and over a few days you'll be able to set off a banger right next to her and she won't be arsed. The main problem is people molly-coddling their dogs and making things worse for them. Fireworks are an inevitable thing, they go on for weeks in this country so everyone should train their dogs not to fear them
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

They only go on for weeks in bad areas.
It's also got better in general the past few years up here.

I don't think it's the noise on its own tbh.
My uncle had what I think is a good theory, they can't work out where the noise is coming from or what it is.
So more because it's unusual than because it's a bang.
