Kinda puts PB's £23 p/h average into perspective.

thats what i mean though, if this guy can achieve the results in 49 hours why does it take PB 80 or 90 hours?

There were 2 guys working on the E39 M5 detail, and my brother worked alone on the 730 detail.

Yeah, it did look pretty rough, but imperfections are going to show up better on that colour and with his "lighting system (which now consists of over 25 lights and still growing)."
If you look at some of the pics again, the 730 was still fairly rough...
For example...

My post of MD wasn't to detract attention away from the quality of PB btw, purely to highlight that if you're whinging about £2k, look at what MD charges! (He claims to charge £100 p/h per job according to posts he's made on DW in the past btw)

How many details can you have before your paint runs out?

You can have as many as possible, as a detail doesn't always have to involve machine polishing
However if you're asking how many times your paintwork can be machine polished before it runs out, then it totally depends on how thick your paint is to begin with and how much paint is removed each time.

Well thats clearly fucked !
Don't get that "detailers" take pictures of things like small amounts of dirt that are horrendous and make out it will take ages to clean!
