FIRST CLASS - they try 2 deliver next working day. the amount u pay depends upon the weight as follows :-
100g - 42p
150g - 60p
200g - 75p
250g - 88p
300g - £1.01
350g - £1.15
400g - £1.37
450g - £1.56
500g - £1.74
600g - £2.10
700g - £2.64
750g - £2.83
800g -£3.06
900g - £3.36
1kg - £3.62
To sent an item Recorded delivery (SIGNED FOR) add 64 pence to the cost of the item sent first class. e.g 500g £1.74 first class + 64p recorded = £2.38 (compensation for loss recorded delivery is £28 )
Special Delivery is for Valuable items. in all cases they guarentee they will get the parcel there by the date and time show on the receipt given or they will refund the price paid. i think, not sure as it dont say but im sure its by 1pm next working day. (compensation for loss is £250 for the prices below)
up to 100g - £3.75
up to 500g - £4.05
up to 1kg - £5.20
up to 2kg - £6.55
up to 10kg - £18.50
Consequential Loss - By requesting Consequential loss compensation at the time of posting and by paying the appropriate fee you can claim up 2 £10,000. add the prices below 2 the prices above. e.g a 500g parcel sent special delivery £4.05 + £1000 compensation value @ £1.25 = £5.30
