yes 5 speed only. i've never had a diesel so can't comment on the rev's at motorway speeds but the petrol could've done with an extra gear for motorway speeds.

Most cars of this size are going to have a similar problem though I imagine!

I have the tdci one mate and it's used purely on the motorway. Sitting at 70mph the revs sit around the 2.5-3k mark. You can't even hear the engine tbh. It's quite nippy as well just make sure you get the 1.6ltr version and not the 1.4.

Couldn't live without Cruise Control now, did 110 miles back from Leicester late on Saturday night and touched the throttle for maybe 10% of the journey

have to agree with this- never had it on other cars until now

But i use it so much especially in road works
