thats pattern, just count the number of turns to take the old one off and do the same back on with the new track rod onto the steering rack

its on now, its fitted, its the bit that the steering rat screws in thats shorter , went in far enough im just confused as to why they would make two different lengths
thought it was going to be a screw off/count the turn jobby like you said but iv had to take a rough guess for now and move the nut out as we dont have tracking gear up the unit

Thats normal for a pattern part, Hence you need to do the tracking everytime you play with TRE's

cheers dude, just wondered if pre's had shorter ones and he's sent me one of them by mistake
im very reluctantly taking my car to a local garage (cannys lads) because i cant be fucked taking the gearbox apart to do that gasket in the middle and theres too much on up the unit so i will ask about doing the tracking when its down there
its the first time iv had it in a garage (apart from MOT)
only so much you can do with limited tools and your neighbours drive
