my cousin has been doing a christmas display for years.
last september, my brother almost died from bacterial meningitis. since then, my cousin has been doing displays for the meningitis research foundation, raising money for them.
he turned his latest display on, on thursday evening.
last night, at 9pm, a gang of youths decided to steal the collection bucket from outside his house.
he has cctv and managed to get an audio clip of their voices:

his display is in dagenham, essex so if anyone from around that area is on here, could they please share it on their facebook/any other social sites to see if anyone can recognise these utter pricks.

It's terrible and everything but tbh you could, and he should have, put it in something more substantial than a bucket.
I know it's for charity and stuff but it's a bit like leaving a convertible in the middle of a rough area - technically you should be able to, but you just can't

People steal charity boxes that are chained to a cash register in shops, so why wouldn't they steal an un-attended bucket of cash from outside in the street.

it was in a wishing well about 3 foot down with cctv pointing at it.
1 white guy, 2 blacks.
the white guy was egging the black one on and the other black guy was saying it's wrong and they should leave it.
