I have heard if this too, i take it i need a 16v manifold, head, cams and other accesories etc...?? would the injection stuff be a lot different?

I have heard of this. Apparently the 1.6 chip can add quite a few bhp's.

Yeah, just the bottom end and block are the 8v items i think. But he has TB so has no need for the inlet manifold. Cams etc can all be taken out of the 16v yeah. I'll get the Mig users name to u can ask him.

I lied. Its around 165bhp

Engine: Prepared by Velos. (www.vmotorsport.fsnet.co.uk)
Power: 165 approx at 8000rpm ( rev limited)
Block - Re -built 1.4 Nova SR retaining std. flywheel, crank, bearings etc.
- Corsa piston crowns, shot peened and de-burred std conrods, ARP big end bolts.
- Engineered to increase compression ratio.
Head - 1.4 16V head fully race flowed but retaining std valves
- Cams: Velos own grind
Induction - Lumenition (Jenvey) 40mm Thottle bodies
- PiperX dome filter
ECU - DTA Fast E48 EXP fully mappable ( shift up light inc)
Exhaust - Magnex 1.6 8v stainless steel manifold & system home modified to fit 16v head.
Sundries - Corsa aluminium sump, Nissan Sunny 2.0 Gti in tank fuel pump and swirl pot
- Std. fuel tank halved to save weight. Piper vernier cam pulleys, Std Ford crank sensor
- rally competition engine and transmission mounts
Transmission:
- F10/13 Quaife 5SCCR cluster
- Std. 4.18:1 Final drive from a 1.6 F13W box
- Quaife ATB differential
- Std drive shafts
- Griffiths engineering quickshift gear change assembly
- Harry Hockley sourced Helix mix and match clutch assembly. Gp N organic plate with Gp A outer.
Suspension:
- Rally spec. lowered and adjustable rose jointed tie bar mounts
- Front anti-roll bar removed
- AVO fully adjustable coil-over kit alround, rear inner arches cut & recessed to give spring clearance
- Home modified strengthened and rose jointed track control arms
- Competition Nylon rear bushes & strengthened front and rear mounting points
- Rally competition uni-ball joints
- Quickrack steering 2.5 turns lock to lock
Wheels:
- 15" O.Z Superleggera rims
- Tyres -Toyo Proxes T1-S
Brakes:
- Wilwood Dynalite 4 pot fronts on 280mm drilled & ventilated discs/ EBC green stuff pads
- Vauxhall rear single pots on drilled and ventilated discs/ std GM pads
- Std servo, master cylinder and brake biasing system
- Braided front brake pipes
Miscellaneous:
- Sparco 6 point welded in roll cage- interior stripped fully out
- Cobra Monaco seats/ Sabelt 6 point professional saloon harness (drivers).
- Sparco pedal extensions/ homemade aluminium gear knob/ ally checker plate flooring
- Airedale components polycarbonate bronze tinted windows
- Homemade front strut brace
- Italvolanti steering wheel

Proven performance figures -sorry only one at the moment and that’s not very good: 15.34 secs quarter mile, 91 mph terminal speed at Santa Pod - (very high first gear makes fast starts difficult.) Top speed 125 mph
