well not sure if anyone has read my project thread but ive got a corsa b gsi 1993 l reg
so the c16xe engine and my maf sensor had gone any ways found one and having a 4-2-1 branch manifold for it, its a BTB one anyways

i wonder what else i could do to get power gains little spec of engine

pipercross foam induction filter
samco induction hose
hoffman system with no mid silencer
de-cat
then the 4-2-1 manifold

wants a service so that should help
and was also looking at them inlet boxs on ebay that are like £155

any more advice would be good and anyone know what sort of power it would be

get a x16xe lower inlet and a power box, should see a good chunk of extra bhp for not much £

http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=620045 and is that the same as the tigra one? And is the throttle body on the other side one the x16xe engine compared to the c16xe engine? And which power box you on about a like ecu chip or a inlet?

Also on most ford engines the throttle body off a 2.0l Mindel fits on like 1.7l puma engine and few other engines so do any other vauxhaull throttle body's fit ?

Anyways the best mod a budget would be like Jed said, get a powerbox. If you go down that route you could fit a different throttle body, buy you would need to piss about with the sensors on it. I had a ported and polished one on my old X16XE.

Don't any throttle body's just bolt straight On then? And yeah keeping a eye out for a box after crimbo now

No the throttle bodies aren't interchangeable. Jed I got it off Ebay years ago for a tenner, off this bloke who is local to me.

Mine had a 4-1 exhaust manifold, Janspeed cat back, VX inlet along with the throttle body it made 108 BHP at the wheel.

14xe i presume? thats not half bad

what should my 1.6 get when iv fitted the box, roughly?

vxinlet box
de-restricted air box
4.1, decat, sportex race tube...

?


i have reason to beleve its the x16xeL engine, so iv heard anyway

Yep 1.6. It made 108 at the fly, before the mods.

It was in T.V both times.
