right, ive got a sony (yes a sony) head unit and its 25w rms per channel, ive also got a rockford 150s punch amp (35w rms per channel) which has recently replaced. i was going to sell it but do u think it would be worth amping components to or should i just use the head unit? while im here ive got about £90 to spend on 13cm components any suggestion

Always recomend amping everything... I have to with my h.unit £90... that will be Infinity Referance components then.

MCS-Direct.co.uk are near to me and have all the Infinity stuff quite cheap (Leicester based mail order)

Other folk off here recommend CEL-Direct.co.uk

right i shall go have a look, what are the tweeters like to fit? do they slip in where the shit standard ones go or will i need to cut the little grill out to?

They will go into the handles, velcroing usually works.

I put mine facing the windscreen on the dash, so sound is reflected back 2ward ma

ive looked at them , i think the dual mag kenwoods look like they wud piss on the infinity. OK so they r only 40w rms but the freq responce is far better.

Whats rattled youre cage SMOKEZ! What the hell is wrong with CEL-DIRECT!! They are very good guys, have you had a bad experience with them? I dare you to try and find better prices with such good customer service! A LOT of my friends work for them so dont insult them...
