Makes no difference, I've read numerous different threads about it and one links directly to a fitting guide (think it was Forges) that says it's no different but not recommended just because it's louder.

Strange I heard different, a load of others on scn said the standard plastic one is crap and prone to fair when mapped.

My mates is reversed and it sounds bloody good lol. Don't know if it makes any difference tho.

Worth noting the OP's car is standard, therefore the OE diverter valve will be pefectly capable and there is nothing to be gained from changing it.

Only early ones. S3 & TT people prefer the standard one and it works fine with a remap.

Basically, the people on SCN are sheep an waste their money. Although lately a few people on there have also seen the light, especially about the standard DV

i would only use a 007 on a 20VT had one on my Leon cupra and it was bang on!

ran a split-r on the corsa turbo but run the stock one on the supra
