At the moment I'm running Parada's
205/40/17 over a 8J rim (quite a bit of stretch)
I still rub going over harsh bumps, I could go to 215/40/17 or 205/45/17 but I'd sooner not
I want some better tyres like R888, AD08, A048's, etc
Has anyone got any idea what good tyres I can get in 205/40/17 (or near) size?
I'd ideally like AD08's but can't find them in 205/40/17
I need ideas please

You can get the AD08's in 205/40/17.
Personally I'd go Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta but that means 225 wide, which is the correct size for an 8j anyway. Are you running narrower tyres to clear the arch?
