We get 5 days off without needing a sick note, so evenif you are ill for 2 days you might aswell stay off for 5. Funny how everyone is always ill for 5 days, you'd think they'd have picked up on it by now.
2 sicknesses in 16 weeks is a disciplinary unless you can give a valid reason.

1 or 2 days in the past 4 years.

Also work more hours than I'm contracted most days.

I had my first day off from anything in April this year, I was literally sitting on the pan from morning to night though due to a restaurant in Spain recommended to me by the directors.

So they were a bit sympathetic

Yes I stand outside clapping them as they go in and tell their adviser they're covered in paint due to decorating their mums house for the 16TH week in a row.
Shameless was based on my life.

I do a monthly Excel Spreadsheet on when/where/how long I work

Some would say sad
Some would say organised

Has helped me at the end of the month a couple of times when pay has been wrong. Also, it allows me to keep track of exactly how much holiday i've had so they cant fuck me over on that either
