as above took the sri red strips of the side of my car yesterday and have a mark where they used to be iv put meths on it and washed it and polished it mark can still be seen where the edges used to be (spose a build of of crap over the last 10 years) but does anyone have any tips on how to get the marks off.......

id say saok it in petrol, soak a rag in etrol an rub at them for a while, go to the other side an do the same then just do the other side again, shud get it off nice an easy, cheaper an better than tar remover products!

is the very last bit of the glue that just doesnt seem to want to budge i think rubbed the hell out of it with meths but no joy

tar remover will work also, you need to dab it on & leave it for a couple of mins then rub it off
