237 miles to empty with about 3/4's? around 30 mpg isn't it or have i worked it out wrong? based on 50ltr tank
Puts it to around 300 miles per tank which is easily doable in the mini?

51 litre tank yeah going by Autotrader, I'm no good at working MPG out but if that's the case I thought Diesels were meant to be good lol my Mazda could get that

Not most accurate gauge tbh.
I don't think it counts the reserve though.

the older 120d are not as efficient with the 163BHP engine
Plenty of guys at babyBMW.net running high mileage
One did 195,000 miles but suffered huge repairs at 197,000 so was written off - something to do with the fuel tank
I did over 80k in my 120D in just under 3 years and it was driven pretty hard
It had 2 turbo's replaced under warranty due to a known fault. Second was replaced at 30k and after that never missed a beat
All i owuld say is that all BMW's with high milage look good value on paper but they are cheaper because people see them as a risk
But if you get it at a good price then go for it
