Yes it is simpler in design. The Wankel engine is such a weird form, but try and get a Rotar4 system fitted instead of the Rotar2 and get upwards of 600bhp. The Rotar4 type was used in the classic Mazda racecars for Le Mans.

They actually tend to use a 3rotor engine from the cosmo, this gets around the 600-700bhp mark. There is however a bloke i know who is getting a 4rotor engine built for him to go in his rex!

No, he's putting it in a rx7. the rx8 is a twin rotar N/A.
they are however redesigning the rx7 i believe

Fcukin quick tho!! My mate built one which went on the cover of max poo ages ago, was a purlpe one, pushin some serious power (proven power not a maxy poo guesstimate!!!) He worked for dragon tuning before they went bust!!
It went like a dream!!!

Dave thats the one, it had gold graphics too i think, a bloke called Yann biult the engine.
He is a mechanical genius and hes biult lots of jap engines to push out scary horsies!!!
