Just laying on the couch watching some re-runs of Top-Gear.
Lancia Stratos reproductions on it. £13k for the kit bring your own engine.
Now that would be a quality project!!

You should get an Ultima GTR, all the time in the world to build it.

The Kit car company that makes the Stratos reps sued Top Gear over the misrepresentation in the show. The car didn't actually break down as was shownin the show but Top Gear threw it in for shits and giggles.

And they broke the window on the car iirc? They tried to tarnish that company for no reason
I agree with John btw, Ultima GTR. Find it amusing that TG would show the Stratos but they've refused to test the Ultima?

I recovered the one that was on top gear last year. Was at a kit car show up here and broke down. Guy that owns it was a really nice guy, didn't have a good word to say for the bbc surprisingly.

I'm sure the £13k kit is a high spec one, you can do it for less than that if I remember right.
3 litre Alfa engine behind your head would be worth the grazed knuckles.

We got all the price lists last time we went to a kit car show. I think once you buy all the right bits it's getting on for £20k finished.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Have a look on the pistonheads ultima forum, you need £80k in it to have a fast one and join the 200 club
