I have broke my left arm twice now (4 operations) and the tendons (I think?) going to my fingers are sore as fuck and I can't make it comfortable unless I curl my hand up into a fist. It's like they ain't long enough or something...
If I try to bend my fingers back they don't go back anywhere near as far as my good side. And typing is a pain too for some reason, holding the fingers up off the keyboard whilst you type with your index finger is really painful. It's causing me a lot of problems when writing code etc.
GP isn't helpful at all. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Ask your gp to refer you to a specialist. It might be something that can be sorted with physio or maybe you'll need an op.

GP should refer you to physio. Physio might be able to fix you or they will recommend you get referred to orthopaedics and they'll cut you up.

It sounds like tendinitis based on the info you've given, but I would sway more towards nerve issues as when the bone(s) (radius and ulnar) were fractured, nerves could've been damaged/stretched.
Carpel Tunnel Syndrome is localised in the wrist, so if it's just the fingers, it would suggest a nerve issue. Get your GP to investigate further with referrals to the appropriate sections of medicine.
