Ring Xbox directly, you should be able to get 12months for less than £30.

Personally no, I used to auto renew and last time someone bought me a card but I've seen plenty that have and I certainly will next time.
If you don't get any joy Amazon have 12month cards for £30 or this 14month for £35.
