Googled;

The Astra OPC was a limited run of cars (3000) that Opel produced for homologation into F2 rallying. The engines were reworked to get more BHP,These were given the engine code X20XER @ 165 BHP


Recast Holden/OPC cylinder head with valves.
OPC Exhaust & Inlet camshafts
OPC Mahle forged high compression pistons
Recast Holden/OPC high yield steel crankshaft
New X20XER block complete with oil pump & oil cooler take off
OPC Engine Map
Irmscher Exhaust Manifold

Reconised the plate.

The realised its a local maccy d's car near me.
It looks respectable in that picture.
From what I recall its slammed on its arse.
I always thought it had a 2.0 in it from how it looked, now I know.

You used to be able to buy the kit to near enough convert an normal X20XEV to XER spec (Basically Crank, Pistons, Cams, Manifold & Software) , but they went for around £2-3k a few years back
