Hi my corsa is smokin quite heavily and running a bit lumpy ! Anybody any ideas ??

What colours the smoke and when does it do it? Is it using any oil or coolant?

The smokes White mate and I did have to replace my coolant the other week

is your oil creamy or anything? like on the dipstick as there is usually a bit of mayo round an oil cap.
what engine is it?
ive just done a head gasket on mine and it still seems to smoke but i think its just because its cold, it doesnt use any coolant or oil

X14xe ! I haven't had to top up the coolant since putting the new stuff in and the oil cap and dipstick seem fine ! Seems to smoke more when sat at idle stuck in traffic ???

it could just be the cold, mine does it.
could just be nothing, possibly condensation if you only use it for short journeys?
i tend to take mine for a good drive for a couple of hours to make sure that doesnt happen

my thoughts exactly, just water vapour as its cold, specially if it does it stood still idling

I would guess you're seeing it worse when you're in traffic because its not dissipating.

Get it nice and warm on a long run and see it feels after that, could just be down to condensation inside the engine, particularly if the coolant level isn't dropping.

Thanks guys will take it on a long run today after work ! Only really does 20 - 30 miles a day through the week just travelling to and from work

Also using quite alot of fuel 80 mile to £20 ! Know a lad with a vtr and he gets 80 mile to a tenner.

Mines the same with the smoke and fuel economy. I've done a whole tank in 170miles before.
