Author Can i change the mileage on the corsa dials?

As above lads.

Atm i have my 1.2 dials but wanting some 1.6 GSi ones. The Gsi ones are 78,000 and mine is 89,000.

Can i simply change them? I know alot of people don't do it but i'm abit fussy.

I did it with mine. Cable or electric?

With mine I took the speedo unit off the clocks assembly.. Take most of it apart. There's a loada gears inside (mine was cable, don't know about electric) and basically hold the thing apart so the gears aren't meshing and used a rubber wheel on a drill to rotate the numbers.

I hope that kinda makes sense as I can't think of a better way of explaining it :/

Easiest way is to push out the pin that holds the gears on at the very top, wind the dials round with your finger and then slide the gear and pin back in to lock them back in place
