im looking for a ecu to use for when i put my dbilas tb's on my c20xe.. is this the sort of thing i should be looking at?? thanks..

yup pretty much, although then you'll need to get loom made up for your engine aswell

best thing, is to find out where you want it mapping at, and ask them what they prefer to map with.

nic, what do you mean by find out where i want it mapping at? do you mean as in the company to remap it? does anyone know any good people i should deal with in kent?? thanks lads!!!

yeah the place you will be taking it to. no point buying an ecu they don't have experience of really. i know they're much the same these days though. some places prefer some ecu's over others.

As Nic said, find out where you are going to take it first, and ask them. No point in buying Omex if the place you've decided on can't map the car!

okay then lads thanks for pointing me in the right direction so ill have to find an ecu remapping company first then go into looking at what ecu software there prefer to use?

yep. find a rolling road, ask them what they prefer to use. see if they can do a price supplied, fitted and mapped.

Don't really know of any places in Kent but there's probably a couple though. There's a few in Essex too, which seem to mainly do VAG stuff but probably worth a look.

the 500 is ok, its an old system now, if you can id go for a 600
